The zine has been designed by me right down to the choice of font that mimics fonts typically associated with Japanese websites. No AI was used in the development of the Zine.

What motivated this Zine?
In 2025, I visited Japan for the first time with my lovely wife Nikki. We loved it so much that I ended up planning a second trip in 2026. This time I had become more familiar with Analogue Cameras and brought along my Pentax 17 half-frame camera chasing the Sakura from Tokyo to Hakodate. After seeing Jan’s tutorial on how to make a Zine I felt inspired to set myself the challenge to make my own. It did not come without hurdles, misprints and many stressful evenings and nights but I’m finally glad the Zine is out and available to all.
With Thanks
I would love to thank the lovely team at Photobook Cafe. The venue is a fantastic place to launch a Zine and we was delighted with the turnout.
